Job Description
We are currently looking for Team Leads to join our custom development team. Team Leads will be responsible for:
- Managing all aspects of the development process in coordination with senior management
- Understanding application requirements and communicating these effectively to the team.
- Assigning tasks to team members
- Ensuring deadlines are met.
- Assisting team members with any difficulties they have with programming and testing
- Reviewing code and ensuring it meets quality standards
- Programming components of the system alongside the team.
- Reporting directly to senior management
Job Qualifications
- 3 years of Java technical experience.
- 2 years minimum Team Leading experience.
- Fluency in English
- BSc in Computer Science or related degree
Must have experience in the following:
- Java (J2EE including Servlets) and sound understanding of OO programming
- MySQL and Database design
- Experience in the software development lifecycle from design and development through to unit-testing, system testing and deployment
The following soft-skills are also compulsory:
- Proven organizational skills
- Excellent oral and written communication
- Ability to work at own initiative
- Good attention to detail
- Fast learner
Will be a definite plus if have experience in:
- Google Web Toolkit (GWT)
- Hibernate, Spring and other Java Libraries
- CSS Style sheets
- Eclipse
- ANT build files
- Project planning and tracking tools (e.g. MS Project)
