Job Description

The Business Development Manager will work closely with the Managing Director to bring in new business, manage existing accounts and perform all marketing activities.

The responsibilities entail the following:

Business Development responsibilities:

  • Creating the company’s overall business development strategy
  • Setting monthly, quarterly and yearly revenue targets
  • Generating leads and following up on existing leads
  • Drafting pitches for potential clients to attract  new projects
  • Finalising contracts with the clients
  • Preparing different pricing packages for different targets, including rate cards for Bright Creations services
  • Setting up the business development and sales processes

Marketing responsibilities:

  • Drafting and executing the marketing strategy
  • Managing the Bright Creations website and blog
  • Managing online marketing through improving SEO (including social media)
  • Identifying opportunities to promote our services to potential clients
  • Attending industry events

Account Management responsibilities:

  • Liaising between the clients and the design & development teams
  • Ensuring design & development teams are on track to hit deadlines

Required Skills

  • Minimum 5 years experience in business development and/or marketing
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills (English and Arabic)
  • Ability to set revenue targets and achieve them
  • Understanding the website and software industries and the competitor landscape
  • Good organisational & time management skills
  • Self motivated and can work independently and as part of a team
  • Good networking and negotiation skills
